The objective of the course is to create the conditions for students to begin, maintain and conclude short conversations, to easily understand simple routine exchanges, to make themselves understood and to exchange ideas and information on familiar topics, to describe experiences, to give reasons and to express opinions, projects and intentions.
The course will be based on different Italian texts and dialogues from the textbook, which will allow the students to develop their grammar and vocabulary skills. The lessons will be conducted in Italian. Frequent quizzes and practice conversations will be based on the studied texts. Learning Outcomes: To be able to master social conversations using past and future tenses, conditional, etc., read an Italian book and a newspaper article, Salesian books in Italian and write a simple article in Italian.
